My gy6 wants to go when you stop...even at low idle. I took cover off an inspected variator and weights...all seem ok? Do you think the clutch is going? If you ride it seems just fine....just wants to go at idle.....something is not freeing up! Thx for anyone's input.

Here is what I got with stator in scooter.... pick-up wire 146 ohms....cranking it getting about 2.4-2.5 vac red/black wire 0 ohms...but cranking it getting about 72 vac battery is starting to go down a bit....the 0 ohms I don't get with it producing 72vac?  ? I changed stator last year...tried another I had laying around....changed coil...tried a different known working cdi....grounds seem good....and suggestions are appreciated! |

I put new stator and voltage regulator in and still only getting 12.6-12.7 volts to battery!.....any other ideas?
