Here is what I got with stator in scooter....

pick-up wire 146 ohms....cranking it getting about 2.4-2.5 vac

red/black wire 0 ohms...but cranking it getting about 72 vac

battery is starting to go down a bit....the 0 ohms I don't get with it producing 72vac??
I changed stator last year...tried another I had laying around....changed coil...tried a different known working cdi....grounds seem good....and suggestions are appreciated!

have you tried a different plug, grounding it to the head and not the frame? i've had bad plugs before.

You say grounds seem good.......including valve cover to chassis ?

Do you have juice to the coil?
