Finally I found the problem, there was a broken wire inside the harness by the steering column, I open almost all the harness and it was on top next to the cluster. its ok, now to continue the rebuild, just need some other parts to finish, just got stock with the cranking problem, now to the carburetor tomorrow and try to test drive this weekend. THANKS.....

That's where I am looking at them right now, it's very hard to find one that match. There are so many of them.

OK here is a fun fact, I am getting a constant 4v @ the starter solenoid signal and then I get 12v when I press the brakes (Left or Right, they are connected with a Y connector). But I get nothing @ the START switch. I have download all the generic diagrams and the closest one have an indicator lamp for Cell Phone :-)

It only happens with ignition on, let me see if I find a good generic diagram.

Yes, I am having the problem with both breaks. I have been trying to look for a diagram but can't find one for this specific model, I have open practically the entire wire loom and I haven't find any broken wires.

Hi my friends, I have a small problem that is killing me for the last week. I have a 2006 JmStar 250 that I have been fixing, the problem I am having is that every time I press the brake lever it start cranking. I remove the start button and same thing, I remove all the plastic covers and left the chassis and the harness all exposed to look for a short and 3 days later I can't find nothing. I am getting like 5 volts at the starter solenoid signal connector and when I press the brake lever I get 12v just like if I press the start button. I need some help, I don't know what to do. This is a 2006 JSD250T2 Jmstar, THANKS in advance ....
