You need to find the spec on those sensors,,,then check your resistance against the spec What is spec?? And how do I go upon testing the resistance? I grounded the wire that goes on the cylinder thermostat sensor and my gauge went all the way up to the H. Does that mean that the cylinder temp sensor is bad??

So I tried the old temp sensor and still my temp gauge is the same. The gauge moves a little bit, but generally hovers Round the C on the gauge. What could it be? Faulty gauge? Cylinder temperature sensor? How do I check those?

So I installed the radiator, new thermostat and temperature sensor. The good news is the radiator fan does go on now. But the bad news is the temperature gauge does not move. It's still reads cold. Could u have a faulty temp sensor???

I bought a radiator. Hopefully that will solve my issue. I will report back after it arrives and I install.

My new thermostat and fan switch came today! I installed them both. I Unbolted the water pump housing and there was a major blockage!!! I unclogged it and reassembled everything. In addition, I flushed the radiator and whole system multiple times until the water was clear. Unfortunately, the water and coolant keeps boiling up out of the radiator cup while bike is idling. Also the engine temp still reads C while the radiator fan still does not turn on. Where do I go from here? What else could be the issue?? Perhaps a blown head gasket?? What are those symptons?? I'm baffled

I will unbolt the radiator and thermostat and clean it out today. I will report back my findings. Also I ordered a new thermostat and radiator fan switch. It should be here by Friday.

So I'm completely lost and baffled. I tried to fix my overheat and radiator fan issue again today and now I'm completely lost. I had the radiator cap off and engine idling to try to get any last air bubbles out. While doing this, engine temperature reads cold but the coolant would boil causing it to overflow and get onto the engine. Does anyone know what could cause this issue??

So I filled the scooter up with fluid and tried to "burp it" by reving the motor periodically and refilling the coolant. Shortly after I went for a ride and noticed while stopped the engine temp gauge rises, but as soon as I hit the throttle the gauge goes all the way down to cold. Does anyone know what could cause this issue???

Hello Folks!
Long story short, so I finally go the scooter to start a few days ago. There was no coolant in the system, so Today I put some in and turned on the scoot, let it run for a few minutes and noticed that the engine temp gauge was all the up. I looked under the scooter to see if there were any coolant leaks and there were none. Then I noticed that the radiator fan was not on. What would cause the fan not to turn on?? What else could make my scoot overheat? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Update: Today I turned on the scooter again and in addition to the fan not turning on the radiator is cool to the touch. That would imply that the coolant is not circulating correct? If so, would that mean that the water pump is bad? How do go upon see if that is indeed the issue? Also I did not "burp" it, I am not sure the process of that.

It ended up being a tight valves. As soon as I adjusted them the scooter fired right up!

Hello Folks! So years after riding and working on my 150cc scooter I decided to upgrade to a 2008 rocketa 250cc with 6000 miles. I am very familiar with The 150cc gy6 engine but I an a newbie with The 250cc. The gentleman told me it had be sitting for about 1.5 yrs did not start. The first thing I did was replace the carb, spark plug and put in new fuel. The scooter starting for about 1 sec then died. I started it again and it started for another second and died and would not start again. Would tight valves cause it? If so, how would I find TDC? Also would anything else cause it not to start? Thank you in advance!

By any chance does anyone know where I can get the plastics to a 150cc lance milan or any similar body style Chinese scooter? I am looking for a left lower side panel. Any input is helpful. Thanks!
