Get a manual one ,,,Yamaha raptor fits I believe ,,yes fuel in vacuum line means bad diaphragm in the valve not going to work I have,a Jonway sl250 also I'm a little confused about how peacock works minds works like a pump with each strike of the piston the pedcock shoots fuel so trying to use a mouth as some videos i have seen to check is a no go for me also I'm finding there is a lot of differences of opinions PEDCOCK,VARIATOR GREASE OR NO GREASE ETC ETC 😕More like trial and error 😞it being new to me

I'm way behind the curve but is grease a reference or necessary? Minds was packed with grease and my belt had it on it as well 😕😡so I went with out grease so the question is do I still need that cover? This is a project on the center stand I have not rode it yet 😑

2008 Jonway 250 to my surprise I open it up and A COVER with a seal and GREASE dark in color and sticky😕 ,I thought these things were suppose to be dry ,wasn't sure what to do so I cleaned it out really good and put back together with no grease, any thoughts ? Also there are rubber or plastic seals in the openings where the slide goes,I assume there to keep grease from coming out but it slows down the slide ,I did lube up the slide with some Magnalube i had laying around loosen it up quit a bit, mind you this is a project that i have not road yet everything i have done to it have been on its center stand ,fluids carb clean and currently trying to tune the carb with its no access air fuel ratio screw :-( forgot to mention that the grease seam to not serve any purpose because all of it was slung up and, away from the roller areas which were actually dry 😕

Picked up a neglected sl250 had a electrical short took care of that cleaned carberator currently flushing radiator and changed gear and motor oil, I up graded the fuel and vacuum to clear hoses and I have notice drops of fuel in the vacuum line is this normal or reason to be concern pedcok or carburetor? I have only ran it on the center stand ,it will idle 2???rpms during cold start then slowly drop 10 15 mins temp alittle below the half mark to a point where if I don't adjust the idle screw it will cut off Newbie here 😆 but very good electro mechanical with me hands Thanks Also the air fuel ratio screw on these in a bad spot would be nice if somebody would machine a adjustment screw that you could get you fingers or something on it to turn or I'm I missing something 😕
