I have solved the problem.
When fitting the battery there was a black cable and a red cable. These I fitted to the black and red terminals on the battery.
I also had the fuse wire that was red but was shrouded in a black sheath. My limited knowledge of electrics is that the sheath colour supersedes the original colour. I therefore connected this fused wire to the negative terminal.
On checking today, I was wrong and all works fine now I have connected it to the positive terminal.

I have just received my new Jonway FF250T-3.
I put it all together, charged the battery and when it was time to fire her up - Nothing.
No lights, no dashboard, no engine.
Any ideas please. The fuse is Ok,the battery is charged and the Ignition switch seems to be OK.
