It's on the variator side of the engine. What I really am getting at is once I get the variator off & the gear sprocket then what?
Can the new seal be simply pushed around the crankshaft or is it more complicated?

So the oil seal that goes around the crankshaft on the cvt side is kaput & needs to be replaced. I've located the replacement part but don't have a clear idea of how to replace it (i.e. do I need to disassemble the engine block or can I just remove the kick start sprocket?)
If any of you experts out there don't mind providing the newbie w/ a tutorial or pointing me in the right direction to find the info I would much appreciate it.
This is for a 150cc gy6, 157qmj.
Thanks in advance!

So on a 150cc gy6 there are a few hoses attached to the stock airbox. Once I take off the stock airbox for a performance UNI filter along w/ 30mm carb what/where should be done w/ the hoses that went to the stock airbox?
If there is a writeup on this already sorry, i'm a newbie.
