I didn't mean to offend you, or anyone on here. Just trying to extract usable info. Earlier you said you wouldn't pay that much for "top end". Ok, great. But doesn't give me good information. Your last post seems to indicate that the kit I am looking at would damage my scooter. THIS is very helpful! "Hey man, if you put this on there, you're going to blow your...". I don't know any of this stuff. I am not dissuaded by price, or putting "good" stuff on a "cheap" bike, unless it won't work. Just want to know if it will work.

The first few posts relayed that I could get the same thing for under $100. Well, if it's the same, would it not also bust my scooter? If they are not the same, then I am looking as to WHY they are not, and which is better. You see?

I've also heard in this thread that NCY is "good", but you call it top of the line. Why the exasperation at the price from the get go, if it is known this is "top of the line" stuff? Just say it's good stuff; don't tell me I can get the same thing for $50.

Did not expect this to be this difficult, or confrontational.

p.s. I posted my original link because I think when Sprocket referred to them as all "generic Chinese stuff", I think he was referring to the links Alleyoop gave me. I don't believe he looked at my original link in the first post of this thread, as that was the type of product he was advising me to look for OVER the generic Chinese stuff. If I misunderstood you Sprocket, please correct me.

The ebay link is one of the products I read a warning about (on the scootertronics website), where you are looking for a 50mm cylinder, but it's only 47mm (actually 70cc, but advertised as 80cc). I also noticed the expensive kit I was looking at came with a bored out racing head (as opposed to using stock), as well as racing valves installed. The expensive kit also comes with an 80cc cam shaft, which I didn't see on the others.

So it doesn't seem that they are overcharging for something I can get for $100; just that the cheaper kits don't come with everything they are packaging with it? That being said, are the extras they are throwing in not necessary?

Are the parts on Scootertronics "brand name", while the others are generic?

Just trying to get the most information I can to make an informed decision.

Can anyone confirm if this is the compatible kit? Again, I've got a Peace VIP50 (one with "VIP" and "Future Champion" on sides).
