I have 16,000 miles on my MZ RX 50cc. My speed on the top was down to 35mph on the flat. I changed the drive belt, roller weights and variator drive face. Now I get 42MPH from it. I forgot to mention that the rear tire was 8 pounds low on air which I filled to proper 32 pounds. A low tire changes everything about your scoot so check them often. I am going to use lighter rollers and a pro exhaust. I will let the group know what the results are.

Well I was going to post some info on my LED kit. I was setting it up on my Roketa 250cc MC 13. I went out in the early morning and BOOM, scooter gone with a empty beer bottle beside the anti-freeze jug. I had just tuned it and changed the anti-freeze as well getting ready to ride this week end. I have to say that I do not wish health to the thief. I will now start posting some of the upgrades I am doing on my 50CC MZ. I have followed this post and wish you luck on your engine. Lonnie

Yo, Man don't feel bad about the kill switch thing. I make pretty good money working on these things and I had that happend to me as well. I WILL NOT have it happen again. I expect the "I wonder why it won't start" kill switch deal has happened to a lot of us. I admit it.

I had a problem that sounds like that on a 50 myself. I found the problem in the fuel filter. The filter let enough fuel through to run flat out with no load but not under load. A water logged filter. A new filter fixed the problem for me. May or may not be the problem you have. Hope this helps. Also you might want to drain the float bowl any way.
