dont have a voltage meter but i checked it my frieds after i charged it for the first time it was like 12.7v its a utility battery for motercycle atv snowmobile ect. it was a acid battery i had to put it in myself. as for the plug i took it out and i can spin the fan freely with some pressure i cant give it a hard spin and wych it roll but my spark was black and smelt of gas but wasent wet and the tip for the plug isent worn at all i bough it in the spring and havent ridding really at all.

hi i posted here awhile ago about my scooter not starting it made a funny noise and i thought the battery had dead cells. orignal post link scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=150cc&thread=4883&page=1#35911 new to fourms so dont know if that will work like i hoped. so i took my battery to have it tested i was told it couldent be tested wich dident surprise it was a battery from an ebike. so i bough a new one and same thing wont turn over goes sheed sheed so i removed some little chrome plate thing looks like a fan of some kind i took a picture im gonna try to upload it. when i push my start button that sheed sheed noise is that white fan thing turning but it only turns once or half a turn then stoppes then i hit the start button again and same thing i assum its supposed to spin fast as the bike starts. maby my starter is crap anny ideas Attachments:

i posted a message about my 150cc getten hit by lighting and all my wires melted. so without a wiring harness i wired the thing from scratch with no eletrical expersence. well with help from diagrams and people from scooter doc it all worked out fine well sorta heres my problem. i dont have an ignition switch/key i push a button for a horn with 2 wires that goes to the cilanoid it starts fine but after about 2 days of not rideing or a couple of starts with no riding it wont start it makes a sheed sheed noise sounds like the starter makes a half turn stops then another half turn. so when i charge it it does it again then snaps then starts so i figured the battery was using power even after the bike was off. so i charged it disconnected the battery and 2 days later same thing sheed sheed then nothing charge it and sheed sheed snap start could the cells in the battery be dead. thins is driving me crazy i havent ridden all spring summer and falls comming up and i have to go for my M next year anny ideas.

thanx guys got it figured out took awhile i was putting the grey flasher wire to the wrong spot on the switch once i figured that out it was smooth sailing now to figure out head light and break light ill go with head light first since i know it runs off the magneto and not to battery and theres only like 3 wires that come off whats left of it if i cant figure it out maby ill run it to battery and install a flip switch to turn it on and off

hi i have 150CC 4 STROKE SCOOTER import chinease its a zongshin volicity. well i was out and got caught in a storm got off and went in a local tim hortons had a donut and watched a bolt of lighting hit my bike.
so after it stoped raining i went to check it out had no power called my frined with a truck to pick it up. got home removed the cowl to find ignition and all wires and pulgs melted and burned so i fighure it was project time. i removed all wires except cdi box wich was undamaged
i made my own ignition by running wires from my cilanoid to my front cowl making a button the starts the engine and made a engine kill switch by installing a flip switch to the 2 wires behind the coil wich all works out great but i cant figured out the wiring for the signals. i got a new flasher box 3 wire grey black and green i know green is ground black is power and grey goes to switch wich had to get a new one cause it was melted but dont know were wires go in to switch or how to wire the signals. annyone know were to see or download a signal wiring diagram a simple one that only shows signals or maby someone could draw a quick one up and post in a reply or hell email it to me at zalfear@hotmail.com ty

dude ur scooter is exactly the same as mine from what i can see do you know where i can download or see diagrams to make a harness. theres lots of wires im new to this stuff im flying blind

oh my #ucking god it does have an alarm i was tinkering around with the ignition switich cause well thats what i though it was kinda got mad and well lets say that switich wont look at me in a funny way no more and it will never work again so here goes another qestion. my old ignition had 4 wires one was constant power one was power when engine is on im assuming one is ground maby second one is as well but will anny standard ingition switch work or does it have to be the exact one cause that might be a problem to get

i have a 150cc 2008 zongshin scooter got it used. guy before me done some weird crap like tryed to install a mp3 player and some hd lights so the wires are a mess. i was rideing about a week ago went to the store came out and bike wouldent start when i turned the key nothing happend so i checked the fuse and the metal jacket came off the glass tube luckly in my bag i carry fuses just incase so i replaced it and away i went. then yesterday i was riding and came to a turn put on my signals and thay wouldent come on i pulled over turned off the bike and when i went to turn it on i had no power. i check fuse it was fine went home got my remote start and the bike started up but when running no signals tail light or gadges will work i live in toronto ontairo canada theres not alot of places that will services chinease scooters and the ones that do over charge annyone got anny ideas whats wrong
