Check out this new trick CVT cover, well not really a cover. We call it the AnkleBiter. It is machined from aluminum, and the backing plate hides the ugly castings of the case. It is for the 150cc long case. Let me know what you guys think, it is available on my website. Attachments:

I am working on a 50cc engine swap to 150cc mounting bracket. I will have this is a couple of weeks.
Basically we will be able to do what the Ruckus guys do and convert your 50cc to a 150cc or 180cc. It will be a bolt in kit, no cutting, no welding.
I will also be offering this kit in a "Fatty" rear tire, really cool and trick looking. I will keep you all posted.
Let me know if any of you are interested in a custom project like this.

Hey Guys, here is my two cents worth on rollers vs sliders. It is just a personal thing, I used to race buggies with the GY6 150 motor round an oval track etc.
I always found I got better response from the rollers, especially when you fine tune them by mixing the weights up. By response I mean I found that the variator responded by opening and closing quicker with a good quality set of rollers and variator.
I am no engineer, but my gut also tells me something round will move more freely than something with a flatter surface. This is just my personal experience, I also tried sliders vs rollers in my custom scooter that I built, and again I preferred the rollers.
This makes for an interesting debate, but another way to look at it, is does the difference in price possibly warrant the difference in performance (??) some may differ with me.
By the way I have had my scooter up to 74mph and it still had more to go, with 12grm rollers.

here is another link with a clear picture of the timing marks www.monstergy6.com/tech_center_cam_valves.htmfrom your pics it looks like the timing is in, it is a bit blurry though. I have found that you can't compare the speed to rpm ratios on a trike to a regular scooter. I believe that the gearing and ratios are different in the trike, so that will throw it off. Make sure that the belt is riding all the way up the variator as well.
