I guess it all depends on what you are going for. Mine is rattle can SEM Charcoal. Everyone is always amazed when I tell them I used spray cans. The devil is in the detail. You have to do your prep work. If it is a painted surface, the scuff the paint job with 200. wash with water and mild soap and let dry. Then pary on your first coat and sand it with 400. Spray on your second coat and sand with 400 then 800 then 1200. Then spray on your clear and sand it to 1200 as well and polish. If it is bare plastic, after scuffing the plastic with 200 grit, spray on a primer made for plastics. Go to your local O'Riley's and tell them what you want to do. They will have you good to go in no time. Mine could look a lot better, but it needed a lot of body work.. And honestly, I wasn't going for that kind of look... But the paint is smooth, even and flat.
