Hello: I just purchased a new Tao Tao gt-5 50cc scooter with a standard 49cc GY-6 motor. My question is this, it came from the factory with a 2 stroke exhaust on it complete with an expansion chamber. Any thoughts on why they did this, or if it's a good or bad thing? Also i just put on a ncy 100cc big bore kit, a new kiehin carb with a #85 main jet, 7 gram dr. pulley sliders and a gates belt. It runs ok but not as it should, I've got some more work to do but i realy wounder about that " pipe ". Does anyone know about the effects of running a 2 stroke pipe on a 4 stroke motor.
