I hadn't particularly noticed a lot of mirror vibration....but how do you get to that screw? I'll try anything to get rid of the vibration!! Yeah, it was only after I ordered the Compeller that the Magnum came out with the independent suspension upgrade! Live and learn the HARD way! I'm thinking of taking the seat off completely and re-doing it somehow. I need to almost create a suspended seat to where it doesn't touch the actual frame....not quite like a hammock...but like that, in a way! MarciaG

Thanks Cruiser. Unfortunately, cushions haven't done the trick. I got myself one of these: www.softbottom.net/1643653.htmlThe problem is in the seat, not so much in the hands. Yesterday I rode using a double cushion (gel on the bottom and 2 foam) PLUS (believe it or not) a wheelbarrow innertube on top of that! Add to that, gel padded biker shorts. Today I am in agonizing pain. It was as if I didn't ride on any of it. Seems my only solution is isolating the vibration by more drastic measures. I know...probably best to cut my losses and sell, but I am not ready to give up just yet. Still looking for ideas on how to "cushion" the engine....take it out and add rubber....well, I don't even know the correct terminology. MarciaG

Has anyone here ever attempted to install some type of vibration dampening material for excessive engine vibration? I own a 2010 Ice Bear Compeller, 300cc trike. It's been tuned-up and checked and well, it just vibrates all to heck! Especially at idle and at low speed. At higher speeds, she runs smooth. I have a nerve condition and it's the 2nd year in a row that riding has given me pain! I'm afraid I am going to have to sell my trike if we can't solve this problem! Now, I know I cannot possibly compare my trike to my friend's Gold Wing trike! But I rode for hundreds of miles on the back of her trike and never felt the slightest vibration. What do you want for 30k or so? LOL Anyway, I know it is possible to have a vibration-free ride, with the right materials....and the know-how! Any constructive advice would be appreciated. My S.O. is pretty handy but without a manual it makes things that much tougher! Regards to all, MarciaG

Here is my latest photo of my trike, "Maya." I put saddle bags on and I think they dress her up nicely! Also, I added some reflective stripes on the fenders above the rear tires. We just hit the 100 mile mark yesterday and added 10 more this morning! Marcia

I am really enjoying my Compeller! I have ridden her 3 out of the 4 days I have had her. Had to run too many errands on Monday or else I would be 4 for 4! This is my first scooter so I don't really have anything to compare her with. But I can tell you she does have a lot of "get up and go!" I only have my learner's permit so I haven't taken her out on the highway. I did go up to 38mph today...a big deal for me! I've got to find a vacant parking lot somewhere so I can set up some cones and prepare myself for my rider's exam. I've ridden all over the local neighborhoods...no problem. Weaving in and out of cones might be another matter! Especially on a wide trike like mine! This trike has been turning heads for sure! I've been putting reflective decals on her for conspicuity but I have to say, the lights are great....bright front headlight and LEDs on the rear as Jim already stated. Where can I ride tomorrow.......? ;D MarciaG
