Me & My wife both own one of the mc54b's & were selling them...She is asking $800 for hers with 14000 miles & it & I'm asking $500 for mine with 22000 on it....The Question I have is how much do you guy's think these are worth?? I've taken good care of them, reg oil changes & so on...All bulbs except for the headlights have been upgraded to led bulbs...Again I would like to get a idea of what people think there worth....

ok,I'm sure these will work...I have run them in my 2- roketa 54B's & there nice & bright & 50w/50w they also have 35w/35w I have upgraded all other bulbs to led so you may have to stick to the 35w,not sure your system can handle the extra power of the 50w..unless you upgrade to led....As for your gas guage, the guages on these chinese scoot don't float freely...I had to remove my float & pry back the clip that holds the wire that comes from the float to the sending unit..pry it back away to let the float move freely....it's a pain to do,but it works...... these bulbs have been in mine & my wifes scoots for 3 years & have never had to replace them..attached is site, just click on it.... www.motopartsmax.com/index.php/main_page/product_info/products_id/11115/tID/3/cPath/34_103

Well,I have some very very good news...It's fixed...Stupid me,stupid me...You know that fuse back on the starter relay,Well while working on the swingarm I decided to move it to underneth the set...What I did was use spade connectors & attached them to a wire, then slid them in to where the fuse is then ran the wires to a fuse holder under the seat...I did this to both scoots, but mine I have no problems with..so,I removed my idea & put the fuse back where it should be & bingo...I took it for a 6-7 mile ride & it runs great...So now I guess I will be removing my plastics to put that fuse back where it belongs....I would like to thank each & everyone of yous who helped me & i'm sorry to lead you on to something it wasn't..I am sorry & this site is a great way to get info on these scooters....Again thank you all...Bob

well,I could not get the top off of the carb on the scoot that runs fine,so I didn't change out the diaphrams... What I did was pull the carb off the one thats having the problems & what I found was a little gas in the tube from the airbox & gas in the area of the intake where it clamps around the carb...I'm so confussed...it looks like it's flooding out by looking at this....But yet, when it loses power or dies out there is nothing no matter whjat you do to the throddle....So,help guys...I'm actually thinking about a new carb,But I hope it cures the problems I'm having.....The last time my wife rode it, it ran great, but when she pulled in the driveway I noticed the fuel bowl drain screw down by the cvt was open a little & leaking gas,so I screwed it in tite but never took it back out until I fixed the swingarm bushings...while doing that it sit in the garage with no airbox on it....then the first ride it started doing this....like I said it idles grerat, but falls flat on its face at 55-65 mph....Well,need hel here PLEASE...Bob

I just tore the carb & intake off & ran a bead of silicone around the oring on the intake & the spacer between the intake & engine...I check the airbox for cracks & look to have one between the box & the pipe that goes to carb,so I ran silicone over that area....Now,it's loses power at the same speed 55-65 & yes the rpm's drop...now when you stop to get power back it stalls, before it would idle ok....it still idles ok,once you restart it.....I'm going to adjust the a/f mixture...seems to be running lean now...Bob When it loses power,no matter what you do to the throddle it does nothing....until you stop & it stalls then you restart it....

the problem is it ran great a month ago, then 3 weeks ago I pulled it apart to do somework on the swingarm bushings...Then after I put it back together & took it out for a ride and this started...why didn't it run rich before.....the a/f mixture screw is at the same setting it was before I cleaned the carb...I did pull off the airbox when working on the swingarm....This is really pissing me off that nothing seems to work,no matter what I try....I hope someone can come up with a fix...PLEASE
Update..looked to be a crack in the airbox where it meets the tube that goes to the carb...So I siliconed it..just took it out for a ride & when you get going 55-65 for a strech it falls flat on its face...the motor just loses all power, but don't stall, when you come to a stop it idles fine 1800rpm's....there is not spit or sputtering, just flat,

Yes I did, after I cleaned the carb I screwed it in all the way & then backed it out 2 1/2 turns....could it maybe be a crack in the airbox?? it ran fine a month ago, then I did some work on the swing arm bushing & the first time riding it,it started doing this....

it falls flat on it's face & then will speed up some of the time...But most of the time you need to pull over then it will regain power & idles just fine it never stalls.... when I pull out the diaphram,if I blow down the center of it,should air come out of a hole thats next to the needle at the the bottom....

Well,I think I found the problem...I decided to remove & take carb apart again & I found the main jet atleast 1/2 plug with junk...I took a needle to it & wow what a difference....The first time I had it apart I thought it was suppose to be a small pin hole...once I took the needle to it & blew it out & couldn't believe how bad it was...Thanks for all the help guys...Bob

Well,I pulled the diaphgram out & it looks good....I don't see any thing wrong with it....So,what next....it looses power when you keep it at around 4-5k rpm's..it will stay there for a time but then slowly loose power.....the intake valve makes alot of tapping noise....Is there a chance it could be the plug??
This scoot ran good 3 weeks ago..Then I took it apart to fix bushings on the swing arm & then put it back together & on the first ride it started this....I hate to be a PITA But I hope I can get this thing running right with a little help....Bob

I'm woundering if it could be the valves, even though they were adjusted 2000 miles ago...
