I thought I was reading my post from 2 weeks ago...
Mine broke as well. I disassembled the variator after someone here suggested it, (I used an air impact wrench) and found the rollers were out of track.. Took it apart, reassembled, and went for a nice ride yesterday...
Good luck

Thanks it was the variator.. the rollers were out of track. The bike was stuck in a "high" gear which is why it juddered. More work to be done but this takes care of the primary issue.

Hi all;
Last weekend I blew out the belt on my 150 cc scooter. I ended up pushing it home (only 2 miles).
I opened it up and sure enuf the belt was shredded with black dust and rubber everywhere.
I replaced the belt, put it all together but now it judders badly with my weight on it. On the center stand it seems much better but not like it was.
With my weight on it the engine slows to a crawl and the light dim. There is no acceleration to speak of and it judders.... The belt is the correct size per Dave at Absolutely Scooters but it was a bear to get on.. (my first attempt at installing a new belt..) The engine seems to run fine without the belt on..so I don't think I damaged that at least
A little help please is appreciated
