ah ha! the drain hose is the one where the problem exists.. and I don't think there is a screw in that tube. where do I find a screw like that? Thank you. I'll let you know if that is the problem.
- UPDATE Checked it this morning and indeed that screw is gone... is it a special screw or will any screw that fits perform the needed function? Again, Thank you SO much!

Hi all, sorry for no introduction but I need answers first then I'll introduce myself.
My son has a 150cc motorcycle(scooter) the other night he was driving home when it suddenly stopped running and gasoline started spewing from the overflow.
I did some research and found that it was likely a stuck float valve. We disassembled the entire carb. and found the float valve to be working. we even tested by blowing air through the fuel inlet valve and with the float closed no air went through but when we opened the valve air passed. while we had it open we made sure everything was clean (it only has about 700-800 miles on the engine).
I told my son it could have been water in the fuel that stuck the valve but that we probably would never know.
We reassembled the carburetor. checked the petcock to make sure it was functioning properly even replaced the spark-plug to be on the safe side.
After reassembly I got the bike running, but fuel was spraying out of the overflow while it ran, and now it's doing the same exact thing it did in the first place.
We are desperate.. any ideas suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Jonathan
