Hoping somebody might have run into this and found the fix. A little history: Everything else/Headlight, brake light, taillights etc work fine. The signals worked fine for a long time, then riding one day they blinked rapidly when turn signal switch was activated, then slowly another time and then finally just stopped working. Have since relied on the 'hand signals' of old. lol However, that doesn't work for the night time... I've put a new battery, new flasher relay and bulbs all around. Took it out for a short ride yesterday turn signals were working again all of a sudden, EXCEPT for when i put on the brake.(s) They stopped flashing as soon as i did that. Anybody ran into this and know what i need to check, etc?? Thanks! I'd like to be able to ride early morning and evening as soon as the weather warms up.

www.ehow.com/how_7948815_troubleshoot-universal-turn-signals.html Something i found in my research, thought if it helps one person, well worth posting. Maybe there is going to be a lot more postings on the internet regarding this. Sure hope so... This is awesome info. Thank you!! I'm still trying to figure out why my 88 honda sa50 turn signals aren't working, it isn't the turn signal relay or the fuse, and you're right, there is/was NO INFORMATION on turn signal ' probs out there'. Until now...and i hope more is posted in the future. Really not even very much in the owner or service manuals regarding this. Again thank you for this information.
