I'm so frustrated with this scooter! Every time i go to fix or adjust a thing, some crap always goes bad! I don't know is it just me, or my lack of knowledge or I'm just clumsy... (sure my English is bad)
The problem started when i tryed to put a different lamp into rear light. I put them in and started the bike, everything was OK, the bike started and the lamp was shining so i killed the engine, and took the keys out, and then went adjusting other lamp for the rear lights!
Yeah both were dead! I noticed that one lamp had 12v and 3W, and another had 12V 5W. So i thought its OK to put the "car type" lamp in... (they are just the same)
So i put the second lamp in ( now both were 12V 5W), and when i put the second I tryed to turn the key, and when i turned it I noticed that the voltage output is smaller (light on the dashboard and front light were very dim!!) so i took the key out and removed the lamps, when i was removing the lamp i saw i quite big spark at the lamp "connector" (where the lamp i goes in).
Next i tryed to turn the key and no feedback I got! Even the gas indicator didn't move! Clock is also dead!
So i checked the fuses next to the battery, and the were OK! I also changed them just to be sure! NO SUCCESS!
I tryed to refill the battery with a car charger. THE BATTERY IS FULL! still NO SUCCESS!
Is anything left to check??? another fuse box???
Can anyone explain to me what exactly is CDI, and can it be that my broke?
Where can i start to check to errors, and how can i solve my problem??
I'm offering a bear to anyone that helps me solve the problem (pay pal)
EDIT: after alot of reading, I think that main fuse could went bad.... how can i check it, and where to find the main fuse?? I was looking at the electrical diagram and i just dont get it... me and electrical stuff are strangers!
Any kind of assistance would be appriciated

Hi guys,
I realy apreciate the help, I realy, realy do!
Yesterday i took the front mask of to adjust the hight of the light beam (it was to low to realy see good at night). I didnt know how to get behind the lights, so i just took off the front mask. All good now!
Im a novice mehanic, and I only did small repair to my scoots in my life (mainly 50 ccm). So i realy must ask some stupid questions.
Here it goes:
allyoop said: "Clutch pads are glazed and are slipping at low rpms. Once you get enough rpms there is enough centrifual force to throw out the clucth pads with enough force to really grab the bell. You can rough up the pads with some sandpaper or just scrap them with some to get the glaze off."
Can u be more specific on how to do that. (im attaching a picture and I highlited the part of the clutch! so i just sand the surface of the highlited area with sand paper???)
If Im gonna change the rollers in variomat wich ones will be the best for gaining the speed. I was reading a post on the forum, and the post said the 20 or 21 grams rollers are best! Is that true?
Is there any internet site that i can order, lets say: new clutch, rollers, belt.... cause i cant find no dealer in my country for JONWAY motorcycles!
If a found the store with some parts, belt rollers and so on... but im not sure if they have anything for jonway, cause im not sure wich belt and rollers I need...
Can anyone give me some specifications on the ROLLERS, BELT, and CLUTCH... Can i install whatever clutch for 250ccm scooters...
P.S. My scoot has 7000km (5000 miles) and the belt was changed at 3000 km/ 1500 miles....
can it relay be that the belt is that bad??
Can i realy fix the clutch with a simple sand paper? or is it better to buy a new one?
**so can u answer this: specification (numbers/type) of rollers, belt, clutch. Where to buy/order (internet). How to fix clutch with a sand paper (watch picture), i need more direct instructions.**
Thank you so very much for the answers lads!
Have a safe ride!

Hello all,
This is my first post in the forum so... please bear with me....
I bought Jonway Ranger yy250t a month ago. After a week my rear tire delfated while riding ( dont know how is it called in English, but that "pin" for inflating tire exploded and tyre deflated.... I fixed that, bought a new tyer and bla bla bla....
so the issues that i have are:
1. Loss of speed after fixing the tyre.
2. When i start from 0 mph it vibrates a litte (too much), when scoot gets some speed its gone (when clutch releases).
3. When i cruise at 20 mph and not excelerating i hear a squealing sound ( maybr from CVT area)... until i hit the throttle it is squealing and at cca. 30 mph it stops. ( rollers? belt? ....) (it is very lound)
4. My top speeds is only 60-65 mph (100-105 kmh). How can i encrease it? is it normal? ( i have 100 KG)
5. the lights seam very dim! and need to adjust them (hight of the light beam! do i need to remove the whoole front plastic?)
The scooter is nice and i love it very much! But i think it has lots of problems. I bought it from some scoot repair shop, and they said it was checked very good! I called them the other day and said to them: There is no oil in the engine ( i was lying ), and the guy said: we checked tyre presure, if the lights work... bla bla bla...
I suspect that there was no real good inspection and wanna do it myself!
6. What are the key spots to check?
Im no mehanic, but my father was! Car mehanic he was, but he can help me, if needed. But i learn quite fast.
I intend do change all the oils it the scoot ( engine, transmision, brake), i wanna buy new rollers ( 21g??? for better top speed) new belt...
Can someone give me some tips? I need some help and opinions! I was reading the forum fore the past month and i think that here is a very nice comunity! Im from EU so my English in realy rusty, im sorry for that!
Thanks in advance!
Take care, and safe riding!
Damien
