i installed a new bbk on scooter it is a 2 stroke, had trouble starting it up but finally got it to start by choking the carb by covering with my hand over the carb, and that is the only way it will start and it won't idle either, the carb is new so i suspect it is not the auto choke, i did change the main jet and started with a 95 i did not change the idle jet it is getting gas the plug is wet when i check it, i tried adjusting air fuel and that has no change, could it be that the idle jet is too small causing it to not get enough fuel? or maybe a vacuum leak i did check lines and they seemed fine, the intake is new with new gasket and new reeds, compression is good almost 150, could there be something clogging carburetor even though it is new

it is a keeway f-act 2009 had blown fuse so that fixed cranking issue, still no start killswitch is in right position fuel line is new, plenty of fuel pouring out of line when vacuum applied, around 1500 miles on engine, checked spark grounded engine and had bright spark, tried putting thumb over hole but am going to borrow compression tester, with thumb over and cranking air blows right past, took carburetor off and completely cleaned with carb cleaner and compressed air, removed jets and soaked them and blew out with compressed air still nothing

hi new here, i have had a problem getting scooter to start, can get it to start once in awhile but it will just die, went and cleaned the carb, new spark plug checked to make sure i had spark and i do,checked fuel and vacuum lines , air filter and still nothing, cranked with the electric start until battery died, i went to charge the battery and noticed the positive side was very rusted not corrosion but rust, also after charging the battery it cranked but when i went to try again the battery didn't even crank, just nothing no break light no display on digital dash not sure where to go from here, any advice would be great, it did start and run last time i rode it and it is a 2 cycle
