Fairly certain the oil leak is from a couple missing breather tubes. Here's another problem. The rear wheel is bent, if only ever so slightly. From what I've read online, this is a "write your will before you ride the scooter again" problem. Which makes sense. Any advice on repair/replacement? The wheel also gradually loosens itself, but I just gently make it snug with a 1" ratchet. Any help would be much appreciated.

Now I'm fairly certain the gear oil is leaking badly. Oil is coming up through the left of the floor board. The assembly (with the kick starter coming out of it) needs a new gasket. Whats involved in replacing the gasket? Should a newbie attempt it?

So I bought it for 1100. Its been awesome! Yesterday the muffler fell off. It has a new little hole and the pipe going into it is what broke. I looked around the site a little. I'm gonna try cinching it down with bailing wire in place of the bolts just as a temporary fix. Any thoughts?

Its a 150cc. He does have the title and registration. I actually tested it out last week. I also know he's used it regularly over the past year. So I wouldn't know about the compression or stator, but would pretty much any mechanic test those? It has 3300 mi, but I understand mileage isn't as big a factor with scooters.

Hello,
My name is Justin, I'm from Southern Utah. My friend is selling a scooter I am seriously considering. However I've been unable to find the make or model on Kelly Blue Book, Allstate or Progressive. The VIN report says the make is Bashan, however Motobravo is written on the engine.
