Did the valves, adjusted them to .003 gap. Starts and runs great at an idle, but still bogs at full throttle. Thinking I need to adjust the mixture on the new carb I installed. I don't know where this one is currently set at. Any idea where the mixture screw should be set to run properly ?

Thanks everyone. Looks like I'm going to do the valves and we'll see what happens from there.

Considered that, just wanted to try everything else first because of how well it runs when it first starts.

My sons 49cc Taotao VIP Future Champion will start fine and run smooth for about 30 seconds, then it just shuts down. I can feather the throttle to keep it running a little longer, but will still shut down after a minute or so. I replaced the carb with a brand new one, new spark plug, new CDI, tried bypassing the fuel valve, but no change from any of these. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!
