You know that air filter on that scoot looks like it is adjustable. Able to extend it out further and allowing more air and retracting it for less air. It is how my SuperTrapp Muffler works, it is a sealed muffler welded and on the outlet you add or take out Discs, the more Discs you add the more Free Flow the Less Discs the more restricted it gets. Also more Discs the louder it gets, less Discs the quieter it gets. Alleyoop After opening it up and having a look, I discovered that this air cleaner works the exact same way. One really cool thing about it is that internally it has a cone type filter. This could easily be replaced with a K&N or other favorite.

Air filter showed up today. Do ya think I'll need to do any carb adjustments after installing it?
For the $10 or so bucks it cost me, it seems to be pretty solid quality.

I like the Mad Maxx look. Rich The flat black panels are really popular here. They seem to scuff really easily though, and don't have a very long life for looking nice.

Knowing how most things are built here in China, I'd definately beef up the mounts if you go with a single or even dual shocks on one side.

Some nice parts...but a little over done for my taste. The red rear fender is kinda cool. Attachments:

i took my scoot for a long ride everything works fine i'm still puzzled why the wire worked all lights work fine,i even took all ground wires off and sanded them down real good,,,,still scratching my head Maybe the ground wire to the frame isn't getting a good enough connection which would explain the lights and starter issue?

They look pretty nice on the bikes. I have no idea what the guts are like. I'll buy one and snaps some shots before I install it.
