Rich, Alley.. I will be away for the holiday weekend, I will back on Monday and all next week and next weekend I will be tackling this scooter... IF I have to take the plastics off then so be it, I will get to that on Friday of next week when im off.. Till then.. Thanks again for all the help.. It may not seem like it I do, but I do appreciate all the help.. With this being an ongoing process its become real frustrating and with some misinformation makes it that much harder and confusing.. And since im NOT an electrian like others or not able to read diagrams, I still consider my self to be pretty smart at somethings and can figure out some things..
for example if my scooter shows that the HORN is 10amps and NOT 5 amps and the green/white wire is 5amps and its for the fuel/charge/start.. and the HELIX diagram says the same thing.. Im content with following that since they match.. Again Im not an electrician so I could be wrong.. Just figured since they match it just may be right..
But when I do get back, I will go thru all the test again.. and then do them again just to be sure and take apart the right handle bar cluster to see how that is...
@alley one thing I did find out when taking apart some stuff.. The NEG wire that is attached to the battery is grounded to the frame. and that grounded wire was put onto the disconnect switch then a new wire connected to the disconnect switch was then ran back to the battery.. I like your idea of the fact that I may have PULLED on that wire that was grounded and it came lose... So that too im going to check..
Gonna be a fun week next week.... IM calling it.. Scooter Dedication week... sounds like a good name...

Ok.. I can see where you are going..
I am going to buy a good multi meter tonight that has the tone and this way makes it easier to follow you.
as far as the wiring. the cf moto one shows that the horn is green/white wire, but the green/white is a 5amp for the fuel/starter/charge on my scooter.. Where on the helix one it shows the correct wires that match to my scooter.. so that is why all these wiring confuses the bejeebies out of me..
I am beginning to think I really don't explain things well...
AS far as the Start button it ONLY shuts down the power when I pull the key out.. Otherwise it starts the scooter with no problem when I push it and step on the brake.

Bashan, do you go by the fashion wiring or the helix wiring diagram. Seems the helix is similar to the fashion. One has the fuses the other don't. Trying to learn all these wires but I want to make sure what I'm looking at or told is correct.

Bashan,
Your saying to unhook the pigtail .. does that mean UNPLUG the ignition switch?? Then just turn the key on and use the top part to check for continuity?

Key off and power off. I need to ask Rich a couple of questions there are plugs and some other stuff behind the wire cluster wondering what they are..also to find if there is a diagram how to take these plastics off..

The black wire does NOT get 12v when the key is off. Its about 4 v...what I put was the blue/black wire was reading a 00.1 read the others were reading -0.00. Nothing about the black wire getting 12v maybe when the key is on it does. The two wires on the left side are the hot wires..

The fuse that says HEAD has power to it with the KEY OFF...
Now we both know from my 40 post that when the key is OFF there is power still to the scooter.. Only way to shut it off is by disconnecting the battery or pushing the start button...
So I need to find out why.... My only gripe is I really don't want to take every piece of plastic off this scooter if I can avoid it..

okay this is going to sound like you really stupid question in the fuse box the label that says 5 amps and 10 amps how should it read should they line up with each other or go in order of the label.
Sorry just grabbing at straws trying to avoid taking this scooter apart.
I wish someone could tell me why is it when I hit the starter button that shuts the power down with the key off.

HEY BASHAN.....
Do you know what ground wire on the Fashion is for the relays?? Or for the Left handle bar cluster? blinkers, horn etc???
Another question for you is the black blue wire supposed to have power when the key is off. When I did a voltage test with the key off the red wire had 12 volts the black wire had zero with a negative the green had zero with a negative the black white wire type 0 with a negative but the blue black wire had 00.1 this was at the ignition plug. also question for you at the fuse box is the headlight power on without the key because the fuse lit up with the tester.

No its the picture. None of these wires are burnt or melted together.
OK here is something even crazier. I decided to change out the fuses. 10 amp. I connected the ignition plug back up. I turn the key on and same thing no blinkers etc. I take the fuse that says head out and now my dash lights up horn and blinkers still don't work. Then I take the other 10 amp out (I put the head one back in) and now my headlight comes on. What the hell is going on.....

I will need help with the multimeter.. I don't use it and now sure what the settings are... Also Right now hesitant to be taking all the pieces off... requires messing with mirror and the windshield and the dash pieces. and all this is computer stuff and not sure if I want to mess with it and make it worse.. besides if I do find the melted wire how the heck am I gonna fix it.. So thinking about taking it somewhere where they know what they are doing .. and maybe finding out why this happened....
