Well seems my other post was closed or something, its no longer there.. Still can't seem to find what the heck is wrong with this scooter.. Headlight, blinkers, Horn All still out.. I bought a tester, to try to find out what may be not working, problem I guess is that Im not sure what im looking for. I took off the whole left side piece from the handle bar opened it up.. With the key turned on.. touched all the solder parts, but nothing lit up.. Then I checked the ignition wires and crazy thing was one of the middle one lit up.. the one under it, only lit dim.. As I said in my other posts, the crazy thing that is happening is when you shut the key off, the Headlight now comes on and other crazy stuff happens.. Well when I used the tester on the same spots after the key was off, they BOTH lit up (no dim this time).. So im so confused on what to do to get these to work. I can't drive it with no headlight or blinkers. And can't find out why they aren't working.. I have checked and changed out the fuses that didnt help. With the tester I just don't know what im looking for.. Im hoping some of the guys here can give some insight on what to test and what to look for.. Next step after this might have to bring it to somewhere that fixes scooters..... Does anyone know where this fuse is on the CF MOTO FASHION??

Hi justguy1, have you check your fuse box and fuses, many time the underneath of the fuse box could have loose or touching wires, even when the fuses look good, they can be bad, I'll post a pic, there is a 3 way plug in the muffler side to check, I had trouble with dim lights and it melted.

I have checked and REPLACED the fuses.... But I know for sure its not the fuses.. Reason is the one fuse that has the head lights, blinkers and horn.. Also has the tail lights.. But my tail lights work....
My dash, horn, headlight (low beam), blinkers are all out... everything else works.....
when the key is turned off (pulled out) they all come back on.. The headlight is on.... The horn makes the speedodmeter go crazy and the blinkers do other stuff... There is some short some where, but I can't find it.. Have the tester, but not sure what should light up and what shouldn't.. Can't find anything on line about it either.. Believe me been at this for almost 2 months now..

Can you trace back those ignition wire to where they start from, check all those connections with any of those plug in wires to make sure that they are tight and not touching one another.

Yeah the wire set I tested was from the Ignition itself. (where you put the key in). . Everyone has been real helpful on this site.. And its appreciated.
Im just stumped because I don't know what or where to test. Like I said I have been going at this for 2 months now and its so frustrating because they sometimes will come on, then go out again. And now I just can't get them to work at all. And not knowing what to look for is even that much more frustrating..
I have checked, replaced and rechecked the fuses. I haven't checked the one I circled in the picture because I don't now where that one is located. but all the other types of fuses I have checked. Alley mentioned something about a black wire, but I couldn't find it..
I have looked everywhere on the net to see if I could find anyone else with the problem and not having any luck. I just don't want to go replacing everything If I don't need to.. Short bring it somewhere for them to look at it im not sure what else to do..
Did you see the video I put up??

It seems as if you may have an internally shorted ignition switch...Key in or out seems to make a change in the scoot....just a thought...

Well the IGINITION is always getting Voltage straight from the Battery so One wire should always have showing 12v. Then as you turn it on it then makes contact inside to pass the 12v to the rest of the system. If you have a fuse box there should be a BLACK WIRE that when you turn it on it should have 12v going to the fuse box.
So it is either your ignition is broke inside or if you have a fuse box that has a problem.

If things start lighting then it would indicate an open somewhere.

@kz.. this is what I did.... I have a tester with the light bulb inside it.. I clipped it to the + on the battery, then took off the left handle bar controls (Not sure the right word).. Then with it clipped and running.. I touched the tip of the tester to every soldered piece in there and NOTHING lit up.. only things so far I was able to light up was the part in the picture.. And also lit up was the place where the 20amp is that is connected to the battery in front of the battery.. two of them lit up, two didn't... @alley.. I replaced all the fuses to the fuse box.. Only thing that shys me away from the fuse box is that the one 10amp is for the horn, blinkers, and tail lights.. But my tail lights work.. The Dash, horn, low beam headlight, and blinkers all don't work.... (well unless you shut the key off then the headlight works.. and the horn makes the speedodometer jump and the blinkers do crazy stuff... richard.. Is that a CF Moto Fashion?? Not sure if I have that cluster of wires.. The only fuse box I found on my fashion is in the glove compartment... I will have to look for the black wire on the fuse box..

The BLACK/WHITE wire is your KILLWIRE going to te CDI that is why it kills the motor.
Did you test the ALL black wire in the plug with key on? the black wire from the ignition is ususally the one that feeds the fuse box. Alleyoop
