Thanks for the info, I tried convincing my wife she should let me swap the 150 onto her Honda Metropolitan. She didn't seem to like the idea but an extra hot rod scooter could be fun, especially for only $80, I paid $50 for the scooter and have under $20 in getting it going so far. So an extra $80 is no big deal. It doesn't have a title but is clean.

Newb here but not new to scooters or mechanics. I recently purchased a gy6 150 equipped scooter for next to nothing, a little tinkering, a belt, and I got it running great but it's leaking oil. I replaced the valve cover gasket, and starter o ring which took care of the majority of the leak, but noticed that the head gasket is leaking a bit as well. My question is, is it possible to replace just the head gasket since the base gasket is torqued by the same bolts or should I just go ahead and do a top end rebuild on it? It runs great just leaks a bit of oil. It has 2700 miles on it as well. This is my first gy6 equipped scooter, I usually only buy 2 strokes.
