wow mflorek. did it a couple times to my truck put a big dent in the side of it. i really havent had time for the gy6. snow sux!!!! after i put the buggy in the side of the truck i put it on blocks (rear end). But im inclined to belive the motor did not seize. The motor is always turning its got reverse and drive no neutral when i pull it backwards the chain turns the engine. if it was seized it would not turn right? the tires would lock up wouldnt they

exactly what i was thinkin alley try to adjust the valves. its really not that hard look in the tech section there is some great videos and step bys on how to do this. i did mine and it ran top. But guys to let you know i had something else deadly wrong. I drove to work yesterday fine. the way home NOT SO FINE. Halfway home the motor went. heard a TICK TICK. pulled over and it went away. started goin and about 10 ft. the motor seized up. so im gona take it apart and see what happened. Pretty sure motor is toasted but im curious.

i made sure of that before i did it. the tank is above the carb and the pump. made sure there was no kinks or curves in gas line to just a straight flow to carb. but do have to get a fuel shut off valve for line. i want to thank u alley for all the help u've given to me. thanks so much

one more ? if u dont mind. As i said i bypassed the vacuum pump and drilled it out so it is gravity fed now. What i would like to know about is the vacuum lines. i took the air cut valve and the intake vacuum and put them together. Will this affect anything

ok thats what i was thinkin but i wasnt sure. Is there a way to bypass this and maybe put a manual choke in. Maybe a push button primer? Amd i do need to get a new airbox. when i got this one the box was gone. i put together an air filter for now. Homemade job that way crap cant get sucked into the carb

It idles awesome now and it goes. just a couple more bugs to work out(starting, and crap like that) and i can find me a scoot. I also noticed i DO have a rip in the intake manifold so that is comin tomorrow if i can one from the shop in town

ok so i finally got the tools to adjust my valves. The exhaust valve was fine but the air intake valve was not. couldnt even get the feeler gauge between the darn thing. so i adjusted to .004 and it does seem to run better. More smooth and alot more power. heres a pic of my timing just the way alley showed me how to do it. it looks ok but a few more opinions wont hurt. Hows it look fellas
