i have repaired at least six of the 244 cc engines everyone had the thermostat housing stopped up.remove the one bolt that holds it in and remove the housing and clean it out and clean
the end of the thermostat at the same time.there has been alot of corision in side of the housing and the water pump housing

I owned two of the 244cc chinese scoots the CDI caused both of them to run like that.replaced both CDS's and it ended the problem.used the CDI's on a hond Helix and a Elite neither would go faster than 53 mph.changed back to Honda CDI's and both ran 72 mph as always.

check the wires going to the blinkers on the mirrors .mine was blowing the same fuse after the mirrors were tightend.the bali body style scvooter is the same as the lance duke .

thanks but on sd i was told the starter clutch was behind the flywheel just trying to find out if anyone has had to change theirs before i pull mine apart .does anyone knoe wher to get one.or what it looks like.

hi i am looking for a starter clutcf for my 250b has anyone had to change theirs on the roketa 250b.what does it look like and how hard is it to change.does anyone know where to get one .already checked the starter and batt.thanks for your help wayne .
