Brand new and IN A Fix... I have looked at dozens of Ytube and other links and the more I look the more frustrated I'm getting.
I bought a used 2008 Chuanl 150cc LB150T-12 and it won't start. I took it apart, but my phone flipped out and I lost all the pics I took of how it was assembled. After 2 long days of trying, I managed to put in a NEW carburetor, air hose and a new battery. Now turns over and stutters, but still won't start.
I noticed that the pink air filter box had quite a bit of oil in it and that the little sponge made to the bottom of the actual filter is full of oil. Is this normal? If not, how (in 'dummy language') do I fix it? Can this make it not run?
If not, can help with this also? I woud really appreciate it, because I need it to run to get back and forth to work!...I finally found a job and it's my only transportation, so I need to fix it (myself) fast!
A face full of gasoline taught me I have to somehow clamp off the hose from the tank to the fuel pump before I try to replace that, but first...do you think this will make it run?
And...I need to change the oil...How? Do I just unscrew the big bolt in the bottom to drain then refill? And I read somewhere that I only use 0.9 Liters of oil, is that true?
One more thing... I also noticed (too late) there is no muffler and the parts store said I can't run it on the street without it, so have to put that on too. Any tips (in dummy language please) on how to install the New muffler?
Please HELP!
