I worked in an auto service garage for 5 years and can attest to the fact that over 80% of tire repairs were the right rear. Most debris ends up on or near the shoulder and it is true that the front tire rolling over an object at speed will start it tumbling just in time for the rear wheel to catch it. You would not believe the junk we pulled out of car tires...

Craigslist has been good to me this month. First a 2009 Genuine Scooters Roughhouse 50 with title for free. Turns over well, nice spark but does not fire. I suspect bad compression. Today, I found an unknown year Honda Elite, running, for $80. No title.
As the title suggests, the Honda will be the donor of engine/drivetrain into the much nicer Roughhouse chassis. This will be a spare time project so don't expect anything right away.
Anybody else try something like this with good results?

Update. Spent too much of the month with bronchitis. The shop tells me it's the bushing @ the frame where the front of the swing arm mounts. He said it is a pressed-in part and is not serviceable.
I know about bushings and if there is a will, there is a way. I just have to see what it will take to cut/burn it out and what is available for replacement.

Dropped it off at the local shop to have the swingarm fixed and a good once-over by a trained eye.

Are we going to get pictures of the LEANING TRIKE Alleyoop Sorry, got involved with some family matters. We are pretty sure it is the front swing arm pivot bolt. It must have sheared off at one end.

Hahaha! It's actually my screen name from the Jag forum. It turns out to be a 2009 Genuine Scooter Company Roughhouse 50 2 stroke on/off road scooter! We can't get it to start but does turn over and has spark. It has a couple scrapes and scratches, but in good overall condition.

Thanks everyone! The tires are visually filled the same, certainly not low enough to cause this lean. I will have to wait until my son gets home. But first... We have to go rescue this Craigslist freebee!!!

Ah, ok. It does lean when it is in the garage (flat and level) What does this require to correct?

My trike leans to the right when I drive it. Coupled with the road crown it really feels awkward. I have replaced the rear shocks but there was no improvement. Suggestions?

Hi! I just bought a 2012 Ice Bear Ace Trike - aka Huzhou Daixi PST50S-12. I want to add/upgrade to the lighting using LEDs. How can I find out if my system is ac or dc current?
Thanks! Tommy

The local Sunoco has 100 octane at the pump. I might just give it a try. After all, the scooter doesn't hold that much since it's kind of expensive.
