hi all ... non mechanic here again .. as the title states brown colored coolant. i had flushed the system all but good previous to the "browness". the original color was green. secondly, within a week of changing the oil out, the oil is BLACK. im assuming these two signs are no good ? only about 33 miles since oil change as well as coolant flush. im stumped. the engine also gets WICKED hot after a very short time of cruising (35 mph max). thanks again, and please forgive me my idiocy.

thank you for the quick reply !
so can i just "bridge" the two connection with a hose ? secondly, the ACV valve is the one that he had "capped" off with a bolt. is that normal ?
thanks again,

hi everyone . so i recently picked up a 2006 tank 250 touring in ROUGH shape. now, im certainly no mechanic, but i am reading all the lit i can find on it. i believe it is a honda clone as the cylinder faces toward the rear. i purchased a new carb for it off ebay, and i cant figure out a certain connection. the old carb had these two nipples broken off, (above the bowl and under the autoenrichment valve) and i dont know where they should connect to : and the new carb : also, in this pic, the "diaphragm" . the old hose on the right is just capped with a bolt. where is that hose supposed to go ? thanks in advance. any more info you need i will be happy to provide. sivel27
