Usually if there is gas in the airfilter it means the carb is flooding, which means the float in the carb bowl is NOT shutting off the fuel when full and gas just keeps on coming into the carbs bowl and gas comes out floods the motor and gas also flows back to the airfilter. The line your talking about saying that is comes from the cylinder head is most likely the Valve Cover Vent hose which on most connects to the airfilter box. Are you talking about this line? Alleyoop I am always impressed with how pretty your photos are. And clean as a whistle as if right off the factory floor.

Well, nothing could be easier unless no one is actually getting out and riding. Really can't believe there is no interest in a game what involves riding. It's too cold, traffic is to heavy, my camera doesn't work, my scooter is broke, I'm having a bad hair day.

Only thing with vans is there may not be anchor points to secure your scooter.

Could that be module? Ignition module? Seller's spelling and typos in three short sentences are so glaring I think that is what he is trying to say is modular. Thats saying a lot coming from someone who spells as badly as I.

I'm happy, now a trip to the market is good reason to get out and ride.

I wasted no time getting the base installed then slipped on the trunk and headed for the groceries. This box will hold two full helmets so it is very roomy. I was able to get $30 worth of groceries in it easily.. Items included a 12 can coca cola frig pack, canned vegestables, bag of frozen sweet tator fries, large bottle of BBQ sauce, a long and standard roll of HD aluminum foil and a 6 pack of double roll toilet paper. It all fit with room to spare. I just have to keep it under the 6 kg load limit. It's big but doesn't look out of place on the big, tall Beverly.

I hope you don't have to take the skins off the tractor... To split her? pretty much.

Funny you should mention that AC Garden Tractor; it is my pride and joy but as I was using it yesterday and it was sitting there idling when all of a sudden the engine bogged down as if the PTO was engaged against a load. The tractor groaned to a stop. Engine would not crank even with clutch depressed so I knew that either the engine or bevel gear box had seized up. I dropped the drive shaft then tried the engine and it cranked normally and ran fine as frog hair. So the problem is in the Bevel Gear Box. It is not locked up tight but turns with great enough effort that it can stall an idling engine and lock up a starter. I have a theory that the cap screw that holds the drive gear on the input shaft has backed out and contacted the cross shaft, essentially creating a jack screw that tightened up the clearances. Only thing to do is either take the back cover off and see if I can see scarring on the cross shaft or split the tractor and pull the BGB out. I'm going to try pulling the back plate when I get a chance. Meanwhile my other tractor, AC 916, will take over the mowing duties. this thread is officially !

How's about you run a new wire off the solenoid / brake lite feed ,, crack a beer and call it a deal? Have to find it first. Had the running board off on the pedal side and did not see a switch. What you suggest is exactly what I did on the headlight and taillight because they were getting power from somewhere with the ignition switch off. I pulled every fuse and they still would not go out if the battery was hooked up, so I cut the always hot leads and capped them off, then ran my own leaders from fused circuits behind the ignition switch. It goes against my nature but was tired of trying to make sense of this "kabelsalat".
