Used parts are a hit and miss deal. Don't pass on that one as the wait for another May be long.

My butt doesn't hurt $60 worth. I find my butt gets hot during these summer rides. Today I was riding with a half helmet in 101° heat and my ears were taking quite a beating. I spread my knees to get a bit of air up under my butt and discovered it stopped the buffeting around my ears. Regardless the buffeting is far less on my piaggio than it was on my Marauder.

I have had great success finding obsolete parts on EBay. I just looked and the parts you want are currently on there.

The windshield on my piaggio is far better than that of the Geezer I used to own but still could use sone improvement. A 15 minute ride on my Geezer at speeds over 45 guaranteed me a massive headache. It was actually better with the windscreen removed.

Other than the fact that they look goofy and cost an arm and a leg, I couldn't tell you. Well, I wouldn't be buying it for the looks and if you have priced windshields you will know they aren't cheap.

Does anyone have any experience with windshield spoilers? Are they effective in eliminating buffering?

Despite the oppressive heat, I pulled the horn out of my Piaggio BV250 today to see why it would not work. Only had to remove two panels and there was no holding my breath hoping I wouldn't snap the plastic like I have with my other scooters. It appeared to be the horn so I spent a couple of hours driving around looking for a European type horn. You know, "beep beep ". Nothing at any of the auto parts stores and even at a local Suzuki dealership. Parts man said he had never sold a horn in all the 18 years he has been working parts. I finally decided to come home and tinker with it a bit and low and behold I got it to work. I really like the way this bike is put together.

Guitarman, the tag was and is "old train depot" As established by ghcoe on July 17. And no, I'm sorry we need to have the photos in this forum.

Old train depot is the next tag. Oh, you're right! I'm so confused. Old train depot it is.

Wow! Chain mail fence? We wouldn't have anything even remotely like that in muddy Louisiana . I know there is something like that in western NC so hope some of our friends in mountainous areas get out and ride. A Clarification of the rules for the future: We will let it slide for now but your bike has to be in all future photos. At least you are out riding and trying to play the game

The state police sponsor the course here and you use your own ride. Cost $25.

Craigs List. Label the title as a 'Mechanics Special'. Those usually go pretty fast. Yeah, blow smoke at them. If it doesn't sell in a week, delete it and relist in about 3 days. That keeps it fresh and you will get more inquires on re-listing. Don't negotiate over the phone. They are much more likely to buy if they invest the time to come look at it. If they ask how little you would take tell them to make an offer.

Two people I knew died in two separate accidents in intersections this week. You can't drive through intersections like your driving a Mack Truck. I'm always looking for the exit.
