Tomorrow is 5 days. If no one matches I guess I'll have to repost on Tuesday. Hard to believe there has been no match. We have a rich aviation history here in Louisiana and such displays are not hard to find. Sorry, this is not a game you can play simply sitting in front of your computer.

Thanks, Guitarman, Rich spent a lot of time trying to guide me through the issues with my POJ, Eagle Metro 250, electrical nightmare. I was so discouraged I just wasn't receptive. Really sorry to hear of this. Diabetes is an insidious disease.

Well, we don't have an Air Force base or any Military post here but there are at least three aircraft on display within 30 miles of me. This one is In front of a VFW hall. BTW it's a Marine fighter. When your turn comes up you can photograph your scoot in front of a stop sign if you wish. The point is it's a scavenger hunt...half the fun is getting out and riding to find a match.

Pretty much, oil is oil. It just comes down to what they might have added to it. I'm sorry but I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. What they add is significantly the point you need to pay attention to as well as what they may be taking out. For instance you do not want to use Energy saving or friction reduction oils in motorcycles with wet clutches. Gear oils have an EP component to protect against shear pressure. Some new Diesel engines designed to comply with EU 4 emission standards have a low SPash requirement to prevent plugging of the DPF. These oils are required in diesel powered Sprinter Vans and Mercedes vehicles. Plug up the DPF and your looking at $2k in repairs.

My vote would be the donut seal determination caused by a bent flange or crushing.

I'll start off: My Piaggio BV250 in front of an F4 on static display. The challenge is to photograph your scooter in front of any aircraft on static display. HAVE FUN!

Maybe y'all have something like this going on else where but could not find. The point of the game is to get folks to take pictures of their scooter out and about with something specific in the background. The picture is posted and the challenge is for everyone else to duplicate the scene with their scooter in the foreground. For instance if poster "A" photographs his bike in front of a waterfall the challenge is to find a waterfall and shoot a photo of your scooter in front of it. The first rider to post a matching scene gets the right to set the next scene.
RULES: 1) All photos must be current. No digging through archives to find a photo to match. The point is to get out, ride and enjoy the scenery and the challenge. All photos must include scooter.
2) Next challenge may not be a repeat of any of the previous 5 challenges. Let's keep it fresh.
3) Challenge winners set the specific parameters of the next challenge but must allow enough latitude to prevent unachievable matches.
4) If the challenge scene goes unmatched for 5 days the previous unmatched poster may post another challenge on day 6.
Get out, ride and have a good time.
If the moderators wish they may move this to any location they deem appropriate.

That is the number of time people have liked things you have posted. I just liked your post above because it was a good question. Is it the likes you give out or the ones you receive. The answer is, the ones you receive.
some sites track both.

As long as it meets the API specifications required by the scooter manufacturer.

I think the four valve combustion chamber ( modern design) shape is why the newer scooters do not require higher octane fuels because even tho they have a higher compression ratio , the correct squish areas suppress preignition ,,,that's my take on it anyways ,,,the old two valve head looks like a modified hemispherical design,,,,talk about ancient design,,,,I think Moses ran one of those things in his chariot before he got kicked out of Egypt for killing that guy,,, My Piaggio BV250 requires a minimum of 90 octane AKI (R+M)/2 method. I have to run premium.

Wow! $9/gal for ethanol free racing gas? I can get regular ethanol free gas here for about 30¢ above ethanol adulterated gasoline costing about $2.299/gal.
