yes it has a switch you could turn on and off four the lights. And the battery is only 2 months old thank you

You may not have a short, the charging systems on just about any scoot is MINIMAL at best and usually with the lights on and AT IDLE it will drain the battery. Does you scoot have a volt meter or do you have a multi meter. If so give the motor some revs and see if the VOLT METER starts to climb and or your multi meter. I know since it is a TRIKE if it does not have Neutral you cannot rev them up to much without them moving. But get on it and ride it and get the rpms up to 4-5k and see if it is charging. Does your trike have a LIGHT SWITCH on the right handlebar that you can turn off all of the lights even the instrument panel lights? Alleyoop

when I turn my headlights on it runs my battery down I know I have a short but I don't know how to find it help thank you
