They usually mount them on the side of the frame by the motor or up in front behind the cowl where the lights are. So you have to find it we cannot do it for you, also never know if the scoot was finished up on a FRIDAY and as you know ON FRIDAYS THE EAGLE FLYs(HEHE). Alleyoop

soo....hummm...wheres that stator/rectifier thing located on my chinese scoot? im researching this forum as well as the net. but thought id ask in case i dont find. Thanks They usually mount them on the side of the frame by the motor or up in front behind the cowl where the lights are. So you have to find it we cannot do it for you, also never know if the scoot was finished up on a FRIDAY and as you know ON FRIDAYS THE EAGLE FLYs(HEHE). If you have a multi meter or a 12v light tester you can test the wires going into the alarm box. Turn the key on and test if one of the BLACK wires has 12 volts or if using a 12v light tester it lights up. Then turn the key off and test it again and what your looking for is the LIVE WIRE from the ignition when on. Once you find that then look for the live wire on the unplugged plug and see where it plugs into when plugged then put a jumper wire from the live iginiton wire to that wire in the plug. So now the alarm is unpluged and now when you turn the key on it is sending the voltage to the right wire in the plug. Alleyoop
