hello let me start by say thanks so much for letting me be a part of this I've actually learned a lot. I have a qlink 50cc scooter that has had a list of issues. no spark got it wired right works now. clogged fuel installed new carb cleaned entire fuel system. now its actually running. problem now is I tried to test drive it today and it has no power not sure if clutch is stuck or what. I've adjusted carb to best abilities. if I turn adjusting screw either way rich or lean makes it worse. replacement carb was almost exact same only difference is new carb has what I would call accelerator pump. which helps with starting if you twist throttle couple times fires right up. any ideas on power issue? thank you in advance for any help

DOes it have a CVT or is it a CHAIN drive motor? IF cvt then it could be the weights in the variator are worn. Let me ask does it rev up good but does not move out good. Can you take a picture of this animal the left side and right side of the scoot. Also what year model is it? Alleyoop

Great, actually they have strong motors their motors put out almost 5 HP compared to your other 50s that only put put 3 hp pr less. So I would suggest you take the CVT cover off and check the Variator and weights and belt. I hope you can take the CVT cover off and then start the motor. If so then you can actually see how the CVT is working by revving it up and down. That way you will be able to tell if there is a problem with something in the CVT. On the center stand DOES IT REV UP GOOD and STRONG and the REAR WHEEL spins nice and fast? You may want to take a VIDEO of it running and revving it up. That will tell if the motor is running good and it is getting enough of air and or fuel. Did you open up the AIR BOX and make sure the AIR FILTER is nice and clean and not full of oil? Because if the AIR FILTER is oil soaked or very dirty it will then run really rich and be a DOG. Alleyoop www.powersportsnetwork.com/enthusiasts/new_vehicle_detail.asp?VehicleCode=306126&st=23&Go=Go

I had a issue almost exactly like this, but I did a number of things at the same time to correct it, but the main problem being was the belt wasnt rising in the clutch bell, it was stuck and not engaging the clutch, so I would first start by taking the cvt cover off and watch the belt as you give the scooter gas and note what it does.
