Hey guys!
I know its been a while since I have posted on here, I hope Alley is still hangin around!
I just got this scooter in the shop, I have tried to kick it over with no luck, Pulled the cover off the battery and it reads 12-volts, so I still don't know what's wrong with the electric start either.
I just read that the SEAT LATCH is NOT electronic, is this Correct? Is it Mechanical? I haven't been able to get it open, to peel off the rest of plastic. After I get the seat OPEN, I plan to check Fuel Delivery, Spark, R/R, Etc.
BUT I have to get the seat off FIRST! Thanks alot in advance guys, I've had a BUNCH of new business and will post pics of the new shop and scoots SOON!!!

I think the seat opens like my SYM, you turn the key counterclockwise and it mechanically pops the seat. There's no electronics involved. Rich

Mickey is your battery dead? Also make sure you didn't hit the kill switch by accident. I have done that a couple of times on mine. Hope you get it squared away.

Your scooter probley has a fuse on your hot wire from the batterie. I would be surprised if starter is bad I have meet a couple people close to wear I live that own the same scoot and have not had any problems other than general maintenance.

Hi Mikey, I hate those seat latchs that open using the ignition switch the cable has to be just right otherwise it will not pull on the cable enough. There is not much movement when you turn the key to pop the seat. But if it doesn't reach under there and pull on the cable. On those types I suggest wiring up a short cable even a wire and have it available to pull on the latch just in case the key will not pull enough on the cable.
Well first thimg to check is turn the key on squeeze the brakes and see if the STOP LIGHTS come on. The brake sends voltage to the Brake lights and the SOLENOID then the Start button just grounds the solenoid and sends the batteries 12v to the starter.
Also check for Spark by holding the spark plug on the MOTOR not the frame and see if it sparks. Alleyoop

Alley! So glad your still around man! Good to hear from you! Going out to work on it now, I will take pics and post my discoveries. It's gotta be something simple, Brake lever switch or maybe solenoid. I'll keep you guys posted, Thanks!

Hi Mikey, Yes it is usually something simple that just went south. Or someone messed with it and screwed it up(HAHA). Alleyoop

I had a friend with a 125 Vino on Long Island who had a similar problem only she could kick start it. The rear brake switch went bad so she squeezed the front brake to start it with the electric starter.

Alright guys, I attempted to take the bucket out, but apparently on this Vino, you have to take Everything off of the back, Just to get it out. So ATM, I decided to leave it in, and just take the side skirts and front panel off. This will give me access to Solenoid, Fuel Lines, Carb, and Spark Plug.
I AM getting Fuel(NEW GAS), Spark, (Alley, The Brake lights DO come on), still won't turn the starter over though, even jumping the Solenoid, I can hear the starter TRYING to turn, but just won't do it.(The Battery has 12.5 Volts).
I've kicked it for a good 20 mins trying to get it going, it ALMOST decides to go, but never does.
My 2 Cents is on the The Kill-Switch being corroded? Not sure guys, since I am getting spark, I really thought for sure that I WASN'T, But I AM! haha
Posting some pics of it also, THANKS GUYS!
