OK so with help from everyone here I was able to get my wildfire r8 50cc that I grabbed for $200 bucks running great. OK so now it's running awesome and doesn't bog down and shut off but now my a acceleration from a stop seems significantly slower!! Any ideas on why that may be?

When did it start doing that? Your rollers may be shot or you might need lighter rollers.

I agree with A of N that since the engine is running great I would look to the CVT. In addition to the variator look at the belt and you may need to pull the clutch bell and look at the pads. Rich
