I'm sure there is a thread about this subject.... But I have to ask anyway! Are there any instructions/videos that show step by step on how to remove the rear wheel from the scoot? Or at least which side would I go at it from? Logic would tell me the muffler side..... I guess I'll have to replace the exhaust gasket if I pull that off? First time!!!

Make sure you torque the "NUT" on the wheel back accordingly so it does not fly off when you put it back on, it comes loose easily.

No problem Adam! I plan on replacing the gasket. Also while you mentioned it what is the torque spec for that "NUT"?

I just hold the wheel and torque it till it it feels secure enough, but might be 73-95 ft-lbs just go 60-75ft lbs

Awesome vids guys! BTW is there any place that you go as a one stop shop for plugs, wires, hoses, and other replacement parts? Inexpensive and fast shipping?

I have the vertical engine but I would think they are all very similar. Come in from the right, get the swing arm and muffler off, slide the wheel off. The first time I took the axle nut off I had to crank the PSI up with the big impact to get it off. I mark my nut position so I can torque back to nearly the same position. I don't know what that torque setting is but I use the same PSI to set certain bolts. That PSI would be specific for my situation and doesn't apply to anybody else. I know you should get the wheel on the ground and use a torque wrench, and I have a nice one, but this method has worked for me. To view pix of my rear wheel removal click here.
