If the reed is worn out or cracked (highly unlikely),,,easy enough to check,,and change,but that still doesn't explain the flood condition,,,,and Will is correct if you can stand to go manual choke one of the replacement carbs are definite choice,,,i just got that tm25 today and i went this way,,,it works great,,,,i am pleased
