Alleyoop that's exactly what I did. I removed the Hose 1, then I put the blocking plate on. I didn't take a picture of that. But now I'm losing on the top end. Thanks.

Split Hose

Are you aware of what your doing here Mike? This is your first pic of this area:
This is the second:
That is completely different. I spent a lot of time on this trying to figure this out only to find out the first pic is mislabeled. Be that as it may.....the above is a vapor canister. The line to the vacuum T is a vacuum line. Pull it off of the canister and stick a golf tee in it. Pull the hose off of the air cleaner and plug the opening. Pull the hose from the gas tank off of the canister. Cut the hose about 6 inches away from the tank, tie it off above it's insertion point and put an old gas filter in the end. You have now gotten rid of the vapor recovery system.
Onward to a completely different system that has nothing to do with the vapor recovery system.
#3 is your crankcase breather, it needs to be tied off above it's connection to the valve cover and have a filter in the end. Done with that.
Block the head at #1, #2 runs to the PAIR canister. Take everything off associated with the PAIR canister and plug any vac lines hooked to it. It should have a fresh air hose or intake on it that is open to the air, just pitch it.

Ok I labled what you should have taken off and put a plate on it: Then EVERYTHING ELSE comes off and all you need to do is BLOCK the VACUUM LINE AT ITS ORIGIN that was connected to the CANISTER. And the Fuel Vent you already took care of so everything else comes off, nothing to do with that canister should be connected. and NO MORE CHROME PIPE ATTACHED to the HEAD along side the VALVE COVER. Alleyoop CLICK ON THE PICTURE TO EXPAND IT TO READ IT BETTER:

Yes Alleyoop. That's what I did. That chrome pipe is gone. That's where I put the blocking plate. Thanks.
