A standard stator should handle dual headlights, that's pretty standard for scooters. Rich Instead of 2 mediocre lights I would like to see a single that works right. Of course that would screw up the styling unless we are talking a retro. For the current 2 semi good lights why not put the same current into one bright one? john

My SYM has a good system, the left side is the low beam and then the right is high. When the high is on both sides burn and it's super bright. But on low it doesn't use a heck of a lot of energy. But yeah I agree John. I mounted a tractor headlight on one of my Bashans, just one of those spotlight looking things. It was 55 watts but the bike handled it and it was super bright. Give me one decent headlight, easier to wire up and bright as can be. Rich

I also have a dual headlight system on my scoot. I don't (read: can't) drive my scoot at night because I think I'd have a better chance seeing in front of me if I had a lit candle. I'm contemplating removing the two headlights, trimming the body a lil' bit and wiring in and installing an LED spotlight.

There's the HID systems too but it's probably best to switch to an 11 coil three phase system if you're going to do that, which is no big deal. Rich
