Greetings
When I originally bought the Bike the blinkers only worked when I fiddled with the positive wire on the battery terminal. The bolts I got with the bike battery did not fit and so the only way I could get a good contact at that time was to place the battery cover over the battery in such a way that the pressure kept the parts in contact. I finally got to the auto parts store and managed to get some bolts that actually almost fit perfectly in the battery terminals with the aid of 2 washers to each screw. Regardless I don't have to tap the battery terminal with my foot to start the bike anymore. I thought that this would fix the issue with the blinkers but it has not. Now it seems the blinkers will not turn on at all. I tried some new bulbs from the auto store in the back of the bike just to see if they would light up but I had no such luck. The front right blinker is not even connected and the area is just bashed in from the previous owners' unfortunate crash/fall.
I would Like to be able to read the Brake Fluid level as well but my main concern at the moment is the proper operation of my turning signals. Any Guidance will be appreciated. I did see the troubleshooting turn signal book and I am going through that now.

When you say the right front blinker is not connected WERE is it not connected how about the wires are they taped up or just hanging around. Have you checked the FLASHER maybe the wires came off or the plug.

No the flasher is NOT the switch the FLASHER is a small round cylinder and it will have 2 or 3 wires going to it for the turn signals. It get voltage and then it sends it to the bulbs so they blink. here is what it will look like and you can pick them up at any AUTO PARTS STORE just make sure you get one with the same number of connectors 2 or 3 whatevery yours has. Thanks Alleypoop. Where on the bike is this thing usually located?

Alleyoop Mr Bashan and Mr poop, it seems there is no flasher but a turn signal relay. i have taken off the top handlebar and front body panel which revealed neither loose wire nor flasher except for the blue wire in the fuel gauge harness since initially before I bought the bike fiddling with the fuse harness made the blinkers work on occasion. Could it be that the fuse is the wrong amperage?

people are real jerks about the relays. Even the bike shop doesn't want to bother. what is a three wire relay a bike shop would have that I could splice into?

It's called a flasher, or flasher relay, or signal relay, turn signal flasher, or turn signal relay, any permutation of those. Take the thing off, round black cylinder in the first video, and take it to them, that's the only way to get the right part. Don't get one for an LED, just regular bulbs, it should be about 5 bucks. Yes the wire needs to be connected to the fuel gauge. The loose turn signal wires probably shorted out the flasher when somebody hit the turn signal. The diagrams in the turn signal tutorial can be used as a wiring diagram. Do you have a multimeter? You can forget about the brake fluid inspection window....they NEVER work. The amps wouldn't affect anything, either the fuse would blow or not. There's a loose connection there somewhere. Check the fuse holder, they're kinda cheesy.

the nearest auto parts store's online catalog doesn't list any cylindrical relays. Think they will still have it?

Here's just an example on Fleabay. Ask John at NYC by clicking his tile at the top. It doesn't have to be round like that, just match the specs that anybody at an auto parts store should be able to discern. I'd try calling there tomorrow when that person isn't there. I have bought many of these at Advance Auto right down the street. Rich
