I am going to buy a new battery as mine is not holding a charge. It is a 7AH and the main fuse is a 7 amp. If use a 12AH battery with a 120cca, what should I use for the main fuse? Thanks Rich

Most come with a 10amp fuse so I would go with 10Amp fuse. Alleyoop

Are you sure it's the battery? Did you check the charging voltage?

Yes. Disconnected the battery and charged it overnight, 13.5 v. Battery sat (not hooked up) the next day and it read 10.5v. in the afternoon.

Yes, my fuses are all 15 amps. Never blew a fuse yet, knock on wood. Still starts good and runs good. Bali 250.. 172 mm engine.

I sure would not increase the size of a fuse. It is there to protect your scooter. If it does not blow when it should the next thing in line to go will be the wiring and we all know the wires in a chinese scooter are just big enough.
When cars had glass fuses a fellow had a fuse that kept blowing so he put the biggest he could get in there and it blew so he put a chunk of copper tubing in and the car caught fire.
