Engine should be fine. I am in Rochester, NY so the weather is similar. Last year I rode until Thanksgiving. When I store mine, I fill the tank and add Stabil and a small amount of dry gas. Then I shut off the fuel supply (I added a fuel shut off )and drain the carburetor float bowl. I remove the battery and hook it up to a battery tender for the entire winter. in mid to late March I hook up the battery, prime the carb and fire it up for the season.

June 2013 I bought a Slipstreamer windshield from www.partsforscooters.com. I had a cheap $35. dollar one that was .075 thick and snapped in half after a couple of weeks. The Slipstreamer is .150 thick and cost around $100. It has been great so far, even driving in 40 mph winds.

Yes. Disconnected the battery and charged it overnight, 13.5 v. Battery sat (not hooked up) the next day and it read 10.5v. in the afternoon.

I am going to buy a new battery as mine is not holding a charge. It is a 7AH and the main fuse is a 7 amp. If use a 12AH battery with a 120cca, what should I use for the main fuse? Thanks Rich

I have been using the Slipstreamer brand like you are showing for a year now. My windshield looks like the day I bought it. Just make sure you use a microfiber cloth-no paper towels.

That's not Hill Billy country- it's great deer hunting country. I'm in Irondequoit (between Rochester and the shore of Lake Ontario).

Put a drop of Blue Loctite on the screw or bolt thread and you don't have to worry about losing one

Another tip for visibility is to use your high beam during daylight hours.

I am in Rochester. Had 19" of snow on Wed into Thurs AM. Today (Friday) temp went to 55, and most of that snow melted today. As soon as the salt is gone from the roadways I will start riding

Guess I'm not riding for a while. We are finally getting hit tomorrow here in western NY. Expecting blizzard conditions, 20 in of snow with 40 mph winds. Actually closing the schools, which is rare here. Then on Friday back to 40+. Still hope, though. Just a little while longer

That looks like the size snow blower that I trashed last winter. Bet it only has an eight inch diameter impeller too. Way too small for the snow you are trying to move

guess I am blessed. The nearest station is 4 miles away and they just started carrying it 2 months ago, and he said that people are coming from 30 miles away.

Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Today I discovered a wonderful website. It is a listing of all ethanol free Gas stations in the US, Means no more additives to offset the crap fuel that is being sold. Check it out. My city has 10 outlets. WWW.pure-gas.org
