I finally got the scoot out of cold storage yesterday, and added 31 miles to the clock....another 32 miles this AM. Parked it last November, but with the winter we've had it sure seems like a lot more than 5 months ago. Earlier in the week I got around to installing a new drive tire (3000 miles on original but had a nail in it), and replaced the brake bleeders with speed bleeders, then flushed the system. Really surprised that the factory installed fluid looked as nice coming out, as the new fluid I put in (color wise anyway).....So, I just wanted to say...it's good to be back scootin' again...ride like your life depends on it.....Bob

Totally agree I, also, finally got my scoot out, after an oil/gear oil change And it came out only a little dirty,
Only put 50+ miles in before the exhaust pipe came loose from the muffler. Not a system flaw, but a girlfriends son problem When he put it in storage last winter, he high centered it driving it in the storage shed and loosened the connection. Gonna go fix it now, add some coolant, grease the front axle, clean the front pads, and go for a ride, before it starts raining, or snowing, or whatever this odd ball weather is gonna do
So, ride safe, look out for others, cause your life Does depend on it.
Dave

Here too...not accumulating, just flurries, but only 26* as write this, weather man says teens tonight . Previous three days were in the mid to upper 70's , certainly glad I took advantage of that weather, and put right at 100 miles on the scoot. Gotta get better soon.....Bob

Snowing here too. It's sticking on the grass and the cars but not much. Yet here it is, April 15th and snowing. It's supposed to be better tomorrow.

Scratch the not sticking. The grass has about a half inch of snow and it's still coming down. It better melt tomorrow.

That's not Hill Billy country- it's great deer hunting country. I'm in Irondequoit (between Rochester and the shore of Lake Ontario).

Bob, what type of scoot is that in your avatar? Looks good. Nice weather is right around the corner. Thanks for the compliment Ordered it through County Imports in California as a CMS 150 Milan...Data plate says Jonway. Made under many other names also Roketa, Lance, BMS, etc. It's been a good scooter so far (knock on wood), that rear tire is the first repair I've had to make. Did a good PDI before starting it the first time, think that's the key to these little China dolls, and I don't drive it like I stole it....HB Bob

Yeah there is a little bit of snow here in pa. It's going to get nice real soon I have a feeling. Last week was real nice and got out on the scooter a couple times. Not trying to get sick with that cold air hitting me ridding it now. Looking forward to nice weather and riding season coming up.
Any one else looking forward to riding?
