At 73 years of age I decided that I had been very fortunate while riding two-wheelers. No accidents, no mechanical breakdowns, etc. So I sold my Honda Silverwing last Sunday, and have retired from riding. This forum has been very enjoyable and helpful, especially when I had the Roketa. I hope many more scooter lovers will enjoy the forum and get help in learning what type of scooter to buy, how to do repairs, where to buy parts, and how to enjoy the activity.

Mike, just don't run off just cause your ride is gone. I am going on 72 in aug and no plans to quit yet! At least don't go deleting the book mark for scooter doc. Good Luck. john

Yeah Mike, don't go, you're a lifelong member with a scooter or not. You have to keep sending me those lurid PMs and E-mails.....uh....maybe I said too much. Anyway, you're always welcome here Mike, with or without a scooter. Rich

Funny, when you had your Silverwing you didn't need the help of this forum but when you got the Rocketa this forum helped you with TONS of mechanical problems, you owned both japanese and chinese scooter, now you know the BIG difference on it's quality....., i like how you construct your thread, you put emphasis on chinese Rocketa having too many mechanical problems and that's how it lead you to this forum.....lol anyway, good luck to your new venture, be it a bicycle, skateboard or even a riding lawnmower, the most important thing is that you enjoy what you do...take care!!!

Mike, I turn 74yo next month. A little over a month ago I traded my 2006 Honda VTX1300R motorcycle for a Kymco Grandvista 250cc scooter. Much easier to ride and I love it. Planing a 2 day trip after we get back from vacation.
