That is the worst CDI around READ THIS scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/10270 And why would you want to switch wires around EACH WIRE from the stator DOES A SPECIFIC Thing, if they did not match you got the wrong CDI. Alleyoop 1. 1 Powers the CDI 2. 1 Triggers the CDI 3. 1 Feeds power to the COIL 4. 1 or 2 are grounds 5. 1 IS the KILLWIRE

wiring it wrong could have burned it out . the green from the scooter and the two greens on the cdi go together , leave the black's off , red to red , green/white to the blue ,yellow to black/yellow . if it runs black to black/white otherwise you won't be able to shut it down .

I will also put a plug in for John's gold Casoli CDI. Well worth the money. Easy starts and good solid performance. Go the distance and get one!
I had that blue thing in one of my friends' scoots and first time out it failed. Ditch that thing asap.
