Do I have my lines wrong?. Is the vacuum line to my peacock supposed to go into the manifold?

I tried the other carb but it looked like the electric lines were fried a little so I tried switching the pieces big mistake I stripped the small screws on the second one but got the ones from the first carb off

I notice when I was turning it over now that I have corrected the fuel filter it's not filling up with gas I checked the petcock and its shooting gas just fine

s26.postimg.org/am5z5h515/20140910_143000.jpgThe boot cap does look that way but its on there as far as I can get it on with out "manhandling it" I moved over about 2 to 3 chain links give or take And I don't see any other screw on the carb other than the throttle screw if thats what you mean

This is where I have the timing now. Its sounding like it wants to catch and run but it still isn't drained my battery again so waiting for charge

I just noticed something does the letters on the rocker arms have to be upright

Ok I had it close but it was between the t and f mark. So I need to adjust it so its not between them.

Does it have to be right on the T mark. I got it pretty close within cm's. Have to charge my battery for now oh and this is the pieces that I was showing you in the other images this is not mine I just found it on the internet
